Under the auspices of the St. Philip Neri Latin Mass Chaplaincy, the home for the Traditional Latin Mass in the Diocese of Burlington is St. Joseph's co-cathedral, located in the heart of Burlington. Mass is offered every Sunday at 12 noon in the basement chapel; It is also offered on Holy Days of Obligation and on certain feast days and weekdays, look to this page for updates. The Sacrament of Penance is typically available immediately before each Mass. God willing, more opportunities to assist at the Mass of the Ages throughout the diocese will become available, but for now all information pertains to the community at St. Joseph's. Eucharistic procession for the external solemnity of Corpus Christi
Bishop Christopher Coyne has asked all churches in Vermont to have a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration this Sunday, in reparation for the desecration of the Tabernacle this week at All Saints Church in Richford. We had a Holy Hour of reparation immediately following Mass this morning (which we fittingly celebrated as the external solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus).

Message from Father: I had originally scheduled our study group on the Catechism of the Council of Trent for last Sunday, June 23, and not this coming Sunday, the 30th. Then I switched that, because I had forgotten about the Corpus Christi procession after Mass on the 23rd. So I was planning to have class on the 30th. I learned this morning that Bishop Coyne is asking all churches in Vermont to have a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration this Sunday, in reparation for the desecration of the Tabernacle this week at All Saints Church in Richford. Accordingly, we will not have Catechism class this Sunday, the 30th; instead we will have a Holy Hour of reparation immediately following Mass (which we are celebrating as the external solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus). Since some people will be away for the Independence Day weekend, we won't have class on July 7. Instead, our next classes will be on July 14 and 21, and then August 4. (We're not having a potluck social in July, but we'll have a potluck picnic at Oakledge Park on August 11.) Sorry for the confusion. God bless.
